Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Purpose and Scope

Sociala is a professional community for content creators focused on sharing knowledge, education, community-building, and growth. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines standards of conduct and permitted use of the Sociala website, applications, services, features, communities, creator tools, payment features, messaging tools, Consultations, Broadcasts, Smartlists, and other services that form the Sociala Platform (the "Platform").

This AUP applies to all users, creators, subscribers, fans, Channel owners, Channel administrators, Smartlist creators, Consultation providers, contractors, affiliates, partners, referrers, and any other person or entity that accesses, uses, administers, monetizes, integrates with, or participates in the Platform.

This AUP is intended to help maintain a safe, respectful, secure, age-appropriate, lawful, and productive environment for all users. It should be read together with Sociala's Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Fees and Commissions Policy, Payment Systems Policy, Refund Policy, Community Guidelines, Child Safety / CSAE Standards, Age Assurance and Parental Consent Policy, App Store Compliance Addendum, and all other applicable Platform Policies.

For content standards, child-safety rules, moderation categories, reporting mechanisms, and user-facing community standards, users should also review the Community Guidelines and Child Safety / CSAE Standards. Electronic notices are delivered as described in the Terms of Use.

If this AUP conflicts with the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use control unless the Terms of Use expressly provide otherwise. If applicable law, app-store rules, payment processor requirements, child-safety requirements, or platform distribution requirements impose stricter obligations than this AUP, Sociala may apply the stricter requirement.

2. Definitions

Capitalized terms not defined in this AUP have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Use or other applicable Platform Policies.

Users between the ages of thirteen (13) and seventeen (17) may access only limited, non-monetized features where permitted by applicable law, app-store requirements, parental consent requirements, and Sociala's age-assurance controls.

Minors may not use or access monetization, payouts, referral commissions, affiliate commissions, creator payouts, Channel administration, Paid Messages, donations, paid Consultations, paid reactions, paid dislikes, paid boosts, paid content resale, paid Smartlist monetization, or other paid or age-restricted features unless Sociala expressly enables a limited feature in a specific jurisdiction or context and all required parental approvals, app-store approvals, and safety controls have been satisfied.

Users must not misrepresent, conceal, falsify, or manipulate age, identity, parental consent status, app-store approval status, location, eligibility, licensing status, qualifications, relationship to another user, or authority to use a feature.

Users must not attempt to bypass age restrictions, parental consent requirements, app-store age signals, purchase approval flows, purchase age ratings, content ratings, device parental controls, supervised-user restrictions, or Sociala's age-appropriate access controls.

6. User-Generated Content Controls and Moderation

The Platform hosts User Content. Each user is solely responsible for User Content and activity through their account. Each creator is solely responsible for their content, claims, statements, offers, services, representations, qualifications, pricing, disclosures, and compliance obligations.

Sociala may review reports, complaints, appeals, technical signals, automated detections, messages, Paid Messages, Consultation recordings, Consultation logs, transaction records, moderation logs, user behavior, and other Platform activity for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, child safety, enforcement, and platform-integrity purposes.

Sociala does not guarantee that all content will be reviewed before publication or that all objectionable content will be removed immediately. Users may be exposed to content they find objectionable. Users may report such content for review or use available blocking, filtering, or visibility tools.

7. Data Security and Platform Integrity

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts, passwords, authentication credentials, devices, email accounts, payout accounts, magic links, access links, and personal information.

Users must not use AI-generated content, AI tools, automation, deepfakes, voice clones, synthetic media, or edited media in a way that deceives users, impersonates others, violates intellectual property rights, creates unsafe or exploitative content, bypasses moderation, misrepresents qualifications, generates fake engagement, or violates theCommunity Guidelines or Child Safety / CSAE Standards.

Where Sociala requires labeling, disclosure, verification, consent, or restriction of AI-generated, synthetic, edited, or automated content, users must comply with those requirements.
