These Creator Terms apply to users who create, upload, publish, sell, monetize, administer Channels, offer paid posts, offer paid Channels, create Smartlists, participate in referrals or affiliate programs, receive payouts, offer Consultations, receive donations, or otherwise use creator or monetization features on Sociala.
These Creator Terms supplement the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy,Payment Systems Policy, Fees and Commissions Policy, Refund Policy, Child Safety / CSAE Standards, Age Assurance and Parental Consent Policy, App Store Compliance Addendum, Consultation Policy, Referral Program Terms, Affiliate Terms, and other applicable Platform Policies.
2. Creator EligibilityCreators must be at least eighteen (18) years old to monetize content, receive payouts, administer Channels, offer paid content, offer paid Consultations, receive donations, participate in referrals or affiliate programs, or use other creator earning features.
Sociala may require account verification, identity verification, payout verification, tax information, sanctions screening, fraud review, or other eligibility checks before enabling creator features or payouts.
Minors may not monetize content, receive payouts, administer Channels, offer Paid Messages, offer paid Consultations, receive donations, participate in referrals or affiliate programs, or use monetization-related creator tools unless Sociala expressly enables a limited feature where legally permitted and required parental approvals and safety controls are satisfied.
3. Creator IndependenceCreators are independent users of the Platform. Nothing in these Creator Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, franchise, joint venture, fiduciary, or representative relationship between Sociala and any creator.
Creators are responsible for their own content, offerings, conduct, qualifications, legal compliance, taxes, disclosures, and user interactions.
Sociala does not generally endorse, verify, certify, supervise, or guarantee creator content, creator qualifications, creator services, Consultation outcomes, or creator claims.
4. Creator Content ResponsibilityCreators are solely responsible for all content they create, upload, publish, sell, repost, include in Smartlists, message, broadcast, display, or otherwise make available through Sociala.
Creators must ensure that content is lawful, accurate where factual, appropriately labeled, non-deceptive, properly licensed, and compliant with Platform Policies.
Creators may not upload, sell, repost, monetize, or distribute content that violates the Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, Child Safety / CSAE Standards, or applicable law.
5. Content Ownership and License to SocialaCreators retain ownership of their original content, subject to rights granted to Sociala and to users under theTerms of Use, these Creator Terms, and applicable purchase or subscription terms.
By posting or uploading content, creators grant Sociala a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, cache, store, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, translate, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, promote, market, secure, moderate, analyze, enforce, and operate the Platform in connection with that content.
For content that has been sold, monetized, purchased, included in an active Smartlist, involved in a transaction, or subject to compliance, fraud, dispute, moderation, or legal review, the license may survive account deletion to the extent necessary to honor prior purchases, preserve transaction integrity, comply with law, prevent fraud, enforce Platform Policies, resolve disputes, and maintain records.
6. Paid Content and Access ControlsCreators may publish free or paid posts, paid Channels, subscriptions, Smartlists, or other monetized offerings where enabled by Sociala.
Creators may not bypass or manipulate paid access controls, pricing settings, repost settings, Smartlist rules, app-store payment rules, Sociala fees, referral structures, payment processing rules, or payout restrictions.
Creators may not make another creator's paid content or access to it available for free through posts, comments, messages, Smartlists, screenshots, screen recordings, substitute summaries, substitute versions, or other means intended to bypass paid access.
7. Age Ratings, Labels, and Content NoticesCreators must accurately label, categorize, and disclose content, topics, services, claims, AI-generated materials, sensitive content, professional qualifications, age-restricted content, and purchase-related information where required by Sociala, app stores, applicable law, or Platform Policies.
Sociala may add, override, remove, restrict, age-gate, demonetize, or reclassify any creator content, Channel, Smartlist, offering, purchase, or account where necessary for safety, legal compliance, app-store compliance, moderation, or Platform integrity.
Creators may not use external links, Broadcasts, Paid Messages, Smartlists, Consultations, or off-platform communications to bypass age restrictions, parental consent, app-store purchase approvals, or content ratings.
8. Child SafetyCreators must comply with Sociala's Child Safety / CSAE Standards.
Creators may not use Sociala to exploit, groom, sexualize, contact, target, coerce, endanger, or otherwise harm minors.
Creators may not use Paid Messages, paid Consultations, donations, referrals, affiliate links, paid content, Smartlists, Broadcasts, or external links to initiate or facilitate adult-to-minor paid contact or unsafe minor contact.
9. Professional and Regulated ContentCreators are responsible for ensuring that any professional, regulated, licensed, financial, medical, legal, tax, therapeutic, psychological, investment, immigration, employment, health, or other regulated content or services comply with applicable law.
Creators must not falsely claim, imply, or exaggerate credentials, licensure, professional status, institutional affiliation, expertise, results, or guaranteed outcomes.
Sociala may require disclosures, verification, labels, monetization restrictions, age restrictions, geographic restrictions, or removal of high-risk professional or regulated content.
10. ConsultationsCreators who offer Consultations must comply with the Consultation Policy, Terms of Use, Refund Policy, Payment Systems Policy, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable law.
Consultations may be recorded by Sociala as a condition of using the feature. Creators must not bypass recording, consent, attendance verification, moderation, dispute review, payment review, fraud controls, or Platform safety systems.
Creators do not receive guaranteed payouts for Consultations until applicable completion, feedback, fraud review, dispute, chargeback, and payout clearance rules are satisfied.
11. Channel AdministrationChannel owners are responsible for their Channels and for any administrators they appoint.
Channel owners must monitor admin privileges and promptly remove admin access where misconduct, policy risk, security risk, or legal risk exists.
Sociala may remove admins, restrict Channels, revoke Broadcast privileges, limit monetization, or terminate Channels where required by Platform Policies or compliance needs.
12. Broadcasts and External LinksCreators and Channel administrators may not include external links or URL shorteners that redirect off-Platform in Channel Broadcasts except where expressly permitted by the Terms of Use or other Platform Policies.
Creators may not use Broadcasts to send phishing, malware, scams, deceptive offers, undisclosed promotions, prohibited content, off-platform payment instructions, or messages intended to bypass Sociala fees, app-store billing, moderation, or safety controls.
13. Monetization and PayoutsCreator earnings are calculated net of applicable Platform fees, referral fees, affiliate commissions, payment processing fees, app-store charges, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, cashback, reversals, holds, reserves, and other adjustments described in Platform Policies.
Payouts are subject to clearance periods, fraud review, chargeback risk, KYC/KYB verification, tax requirements, payout provider rules, sanctions screening, payment processor requirements, app-store requirements, and Sociala's eligibility rules.
Sociala may delay, withhold, reverse, offset, adjust, freeze, restrict, or deny payouts where permitted by Platform Policies.
14. App-Store Payment RulesCreator monetization inside the iOS app may require Apple In-App Purchase for digital content, digital functionality, subscriptions, in-app credits, creator content, paid posts, paid Channels, Smartlists, paid interactions, or donations connected to digital content.
Creator monetization inside the Android app may require Google Play Billing or another permitted Google Play billing flow where applicable.
Creators may not direct users to bypass app-store billing, Sociala payment systems, Sociala fees, or Platform controls.
15. TaxesCreators are responsible for determining, reporting, and paying taxes related to their earnings, sales, payouts, commissions, and activities on Sociala.
Sociala does not provide tax advice. Sociala may collect tax information, issue tax forms, withhold amounts, or restrict payouts where required or permitted by law or payment provider rules.
16. Data and User PrivacyCreators may receive limited information about users who interact with them, including names, profiles, transaction information, booking details, messages, or other information necessary for the relevant feature.
Creators must use user information only for legitimate Platform-related purposes and must not misuse, sell, scrape, expose, harass, spam, or unlawfully process user data.
Creators are independently responsible for complying with applicable privacy, data protection, consumer protection, advertising, and communication laws.
17. EnforcementViolations of these Creator Terms may result in content removal, labels, age gates, limited discovery, demonetization, payout holds, refund or chargeback adjustments, Smartlist restrictions, Broadcast restrictions, Consultation restrictions, Channel restrictions, account suspension, termination, or other enforcement actions.
Sociala may report serious violations to payment processors, app stores, infrastructure providers, law enforcement, regulators, rights holders, or child-safety organizations where required or appropriate.
18. UpdatesSociala may update these Creator Terms from time to time. Continued use of creator or monetization features after updated Creator Terms become effective constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.
