At Josh’s Frogs, we are dedicated to ethical and sustainable practices in our industry. We firmly believe that captive breeding is the key to preserving wild populations, and we refuse to offer wild-caught animals for sale. By prioritizing captive-bred specimens, we can reduce the demand for wild-collected individuals, ensuring that these delicate creatures remain in their natural habitats for generations to come.
Our commitment to amphibian conservation extends beyond our captive breeding practices. Since 2014, we have partnered with Association Amphibian in Madagascar to protect endangered species such as the critically endangered golden Mantella. Furthermore, our annual Amphibian Conservation Grants have provided financial support to organizations and individuals dedicated to preserving these fascinating animals. To date, we have donated over $43,000 to amphibian conservation and research initiatives. We believe that captive breeding has the power to not only sustain our hobby but also directly benefit the animals we cherish. By embracing this approach, we can create a harmonious balance between our passion and the well-being of wild amphibians.
