Master SCCM Remote Control: Access and Manage Endpoints Effortlessly

In this video, we’ll guide you through configuring SCCM remote control tools to remotely access and control endpoint computers. Remote control capabilities within SCCM eliminate the need for additional remote tools like TeamViewer or RDP, providing a convenient and secure solution for IT professionals.

To begin, navigate to the SCCM console and select the “Administration” tab. Under “Client Settings,” locate “Default Settings” and open its properties. Within the “Remote Tools” section, verify that the feature is enabled. If it’s not, enable it and configure desired settings, such as remote control permissions, file transfer options, and notification preferences.

Once the remote tools settings are configured, the changes will take a few minutes to sync to the client computers. To expedite the policy update, you can manually initiate a policy retrieval by accessing the “Configuration Manager” action in the “Programs and Features” section of the client computer’s Control Panel.

After the policy has been applied, right-click on the target computer in the SCCM console and select “Start Remote Tool.” The remote control session will initiate, prompting the remote user to approve the connection. Once approved, you’ll gain full remote control over the computer, enabling you to perform various administrative tasks and configurations securely and efficiently.
