EasyEDA: The Ultimate Free Software for Electronics Design

In this tutorial, we delve into EasyEDA, a free online software that empowers you to create circuit schematics, design PCBs, and simulate electronic circuits. The comprehensive component library provides a wide range of basic electronics components, while the design sharing feature grants access to components and schematics shared by other users.

To demonstrate EasyEDA’s capabilities, we create a circuit schematic for an audio amplifier. After adding and connecting the components, we export the schematic as an image, PDF, or SVG file. Next, we transition to the PCB design workspace, where we refine the board layout and connect the components using the intuitive tracking tool. The photo view option offers a preview of the board’s appearance.

EasyEDA also offers simulation capabilities. We simulate a transistor-based Schmitt trigger circuit, attaching voltage probes to observe input and output signals. The simulation results align with the experimental values obtained from a breadboard test.

Overall, EasyEDA impresses with its user-friendly interface, comprehensive features, and the unique fabrication output option. This feature allows you to order the fabrication of your PCB designs, making EasyEDA an invaluable tool for both hobbyists and professionals alike.
