Tragedy has struck in Jamaica as Jada Whitehead, a 28-year-old Toronto woman vacationing on her wedding anniversary, has died from suspected assault injuries. Her family, who is understandably in shock, is seeking answers and eagerly working to transport her remains back home.
As per reports from the Jamaican Police, Jada was allegedly involved in a domestic dispute with her husband. She reportedly suffered severe injuries but neglected to seek medical attention or notify authorities. The following day, she was discovered unconscious in bed and was subsequently pronounced dead in the hospital. The Jamaican Police have apprehended the husband, and murder charges against him are expected.
